Effective Microorganisms & Reedbeds

Using reedbeds to clean up dirty or polluted water is a technology that has been around for a very long time and is a technology that is both cheap to install, easy to maintain and is sustainable.

Reedbeds work through the combined effect of colonies of microorganisms living on the roots of the reeds and which feed on the pollutants in the water, breaking them down into harmless products.
On their own, reedbeds work perfectly well once the microbe colonies have become established.

Adding EM to a reedbed system will dramatically improve it's efficiency.
