We have used these jars over a number of years and with a variety of species with excellent results. Species include carp, grass carp, tench and striped bass. Because the jars are made of clear plastic, one is able to regulate the water flow precisely to suit the stage of development the eggs and to check them for any signs of infection.
Jars for hatching brine shrimp do not need a spout, however, having one allows the jars to be used for both purposes.

The jars can be provided with or without valves on the bottom inlets, however we recommend the use of diaphragm valves, as these provides far greater control of flow rates, which is of special importance during the early stages of incubation.
